The developer of indie games Celeste and Towerfall has revealed the name of its next game: Earthblade. Despite there not being many details about the game, Extremely OK Games allowed a first look into the game through the ‘vibe reveal’.

The developer allowed a first look at the title through a poster and a song that will be featured in the game. The poster and the game’s logo were designed by Pedro Medeiros and the song composed by Lena Raine. Extremely OK Games teased these aspects of the game via Twitter, which you can see below:

It is unclear when the game will be released as Extremley OK Games has only listed a ’20XX’ release date. The studio’s Maddy Thorson said in the announcement blog that ‘it sounds optimistic to say out loud that Earthblade could be released within 5 short years of Celeste.’

She continued to say ‘The truth is that we don’t know how long it will take, just that it will take as long as it takes and that it will take a long time.’
