“After the launch of Super Mario Run in December, Nintendo plans to deliver its previously announced mobile device titles in the Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem series before the end of March 2017,” Nintendo have said. “Based on a variety of factors, we felt it was most appropriate for Super Mario Run to launch ahead of these other two apps.”

Super Mario Run will launch towards the end of the year and become Nintendo’s second mobile game after Miitomo. They will later be joined by Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem as part of Nintendo’s movement into mobile gaming.
