Meet the Crew: Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby of The Expanse (sci-fi mystery thriller) will be working with showrunner Rafe Judkins (Wheel of Time). Honestly? I think the folks at PlayStation should take the Cuphead route and adapt stuff that has less of a story-heavy leaning. Between this and the 2023 Last of Us show coming up, they’d have to be at least somewhat better or differently good in a lot of ways, considering they’re both essentially playable movies.

On a related note, the car-battling destruction simulator that is Twisted Metal will also be getting a TV adaptation. I’m no Twisted Metal lore-daddy, but I do know it’s claim to fame consists of having a fugly killer clown mascot and more mutually-beneficial explosions than the Fallout games!
