Batman : Arkham Knight dethrone Lego Jurassic Park to take top spot in UK charts.

A week is a long time in the gaming industry and it was only last week when Lego Jurassic Park gained top place from The Elder Scrolls Online. A week later and it is already knocked to second-place due to the release of the hit Batman: Arkham Knight, which has taken massive sales. Batman’s first week sales have surpassed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and according to UK sales monitor Chart-Track, makes it the fastest selling game of the year so far.

The recently released Yoshi’s Woolly World also makes a appearance, taking fourth-place. The full UK top ten for the week are as followed:

1. Batman: Arkham Knight
2. Lego Jurassic World
3. The Elder Scrolls Online
4. Yoshi’s Woolly World
5. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
6. Grand Theft Auto V
7. Call of Duty: Advance Warfare

LEGO Jurassic World

Roles reversed as both games switched places on their debut week last week. LEGO Jurassic World knocked Elder Scrolls Online off the top spot in the UK video games chart. Hollywood blockbuster, Jurassic World, debuted on 11th June 2015, which has undoubtedly aided in the LEGO game’s success. The franchise has gained seven no.1’s since LEGO Star Wars kicked it all off, way back in 2005! It may be just another LEGO game, but in Jurassic World you can play as dinosaurs, which most probably also has something to do with the game’s immediate soar up the charts.

You can check out the official game-play trailer for LEGO Jurassic World below. Although we very much enjoy Elder Scrolls Online, we can see how it may be a little difficult when you’re up against being able to play as a dinosaur!

A Funko Announcement

Funko have recently revealed all NEW Pop! Vinyl figures, that we know will be of interest to RPGs of Bethesda…

Funko have made a lot of fans happy by announcing the release of all NEW Pop! Vinyl figures, which include Fallout, Skyrim, and The Elder Scrolls Online. 

Fallout will include – The Lone Wanderer, Super Mutant, Death Claw, and Vault Boy; Skyrim will include – Dovahkiin, Daedric Warrior, and Alduin; and The Elder Scrolls Online will include – Breton, High Elf, and Nord, among other figures.

The Fallout vinyls will become available in July, whilst the Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online vinyls will be joining in August. Below are shots of what they’re going to look like. All very exciting stuff and just in time with the new Fallout 4 being announced!
