GTA, formerly known as Grand Theft Auto, is one of the most popular gaming franchises ever to be created with it being amongst the top for several years. Now you are probably thinking what you are looking at and how does it prove anything. Well, it shows that “Grand Theft Auto III – Unreal, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – Unreal and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – Unreal”, will all be remastered with the Unreal Engine. As highlighted in the leaks, this shows that they are in the works, this all being in the Rockstar Launcher. This is all after rumours already being spread that Rockstar games will be using the Unreal engine to remaster the Trilogy which brings more reason to why this is more concrete as the dots continue connecting.

This being another interesting source on this, showing that the game titled, “Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition”, which is the confirmed title for the trilogy, has already been rated in South Korea. Now if this doesn’t indicate the release being imminent then I’m not sure what else will!

This leak shows the achievement icons that will feature on the game. These were leaked and uploaded to GTAForums. This means that we may be seeing updated achievements if true.

What is next to look out for from Grand Theft Auto?

Although these leaks are all not 100% until Rockstar officially release details, they do highly indicate that a Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy is being worked on and may even be the next release out of the Grand Theft Auto firm. As more features continue to be added onto GTA V, engaging the fans in many ways and with Grand Theft Auto VI being one of the most anticipated and looked out for releases, this suppresses the hype around that, drawing more attention towards giving the Grand Theft Auto community their favourite classics remastered. We are sure more leaks about the trilogy will continue to be leaked alongside leaks for the long awaited GTA VI. So, we suggest keeping on the lookout as the next Grand Theft Auto release could be a lot sooner than you think. Fans of the adrenaline-pumped, crime-ridden sandbox series look for new GTA6 clues in GTA5 trailer

This year’s PlayStation Showcase event featured the next-gen iteration of Grand Theft Auto 5, with a confirmation that it will not be out until March 2022 at the earliest. This was met with widespread backlash from Grand Theft Auto fans, with the GTA 5 PS5 trailer hit with over 200,000 “dislikes” in comparison to 29,000 likes, thus making only 13.68% of the like and dislike ratio positive. Due to the original Grand Theft Auto 5 being released in 2013, many fans have become impatient for anything regarding the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series.

However, some fans have started to dissect the Grand Theft Auto 5 PS5 trailer in search of clues for the next installment. Fans have honed in on a license plate that’s spotted in the new trailer, with some interpreting the license plate which could be shown as possible details about Grand Theft Auto 6.

A Reddit post shows this possible clue: a license plate which reads 61SAL890. Fans have speculated this to be coded as “6 is a late 90s,” meaning that Grand Theft Auto 6 could be set in the late 1990s. Rockstar Games do typically give clues about its future projects, so it could have legitimacy.

There have been many rumors and supposed leaks about Grand Theft Auto 6, though some of these have come from legitimate sources. Some leaks state that Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature a male and female protagonist and would be set in Vice City. The game will reportedly include an evolving map within a new version of Grand Theft Auto Online.

With Grand Theft Auto 6 lacking an official release, these claims may be taken with a grain of salt and may have many years left in its development. When the project is finally unveiled to the public, we may be able to judge and dissect, but what has been said may be very different from what would be.
