I’m back in black baby! Which is to say, I’m reporting on recent statements from Overwatch 2 staff regarding how Bobby Kotick contributed to slowing down development.

In the immortal words of Shaun Andjen, “I may not know much about fine art, but I do know how to kick a man when he’s down“.

Tracy Kennedy (Professional Rhyming Name-Haver), a producer on Overwatch 1&2, opened up recently regarding issues developers were facing, largely caused by Bobby Kotick (Professional Trash-Mammal). So, let’s unpack this, shall we?

Monsieur Kotique would reportedly repeatedly ‘shove “random projects for OW1″‘ for the devs working on Overwatch 2. This contributed to resources being spread thinner than marmite on unbuttered rivita.

Kennedy also alleged the team had to work overtime to keep up with Kocktick’s demands, resulting in various projects getting scraped in service of keeping the content train running for Overwatch 1.

Tracy Kennedy brought up these claims in response to a recent Bobby Kotick interview, wherein he claimed the Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 delays were major reasons for his leave… I don’t think Bobby’s lying here, maybe he magically realized that his lack of business skills are only matched by his lack of basic human decency.

Feel free to have a butcher’s at Tracy’s tweet if you’re in the mood for putting another anti-Kotick zinger on the spit.

Tracy Kennedy’s statements (as far as I’m aware) haven’t been backed up or denied by other Activision Blizzard staff (ex or otherwise). But let’s not mince words, if bossman says what the bossman wants, then bossman’s wants what’s driving the bossman’s business down, see?

I’ll stop doing that when it stops being funny to read those sections in a 1920s-style radio commentator voice! And on a vaguely-related note, I was today years old when I found out Jimmy Stewart took part in a celebrity roast of Dean Martin! Guess I know what I’ll be up to on my off-hours. Calling all Assassin’s! Have you been wanting to give yourself an excuse to travel back into the beautiful Italian Renaissance period? Fancy rubbing shoulders with the likes of Leonardo Da Vinci, Nicolo Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza? Well finally for Switch players this’ll become possible, as Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection will be available from February 17th. How exciting!

First announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016, the compilation bundles together Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations. They’re the three games that make up the Ezio Auditore Saga and are certainly some the best games within the series. Additionally, the game also comes with two short films, Assassin’s Creed: Lineage and Embers. They’re ones that also definitely shouldn’t be missed.

Nintendo Switch Ezio Collection- Everything You Need To Know

Looks good, doesn’t it? I mean, how could it not, the three games are in my opinion some of the best of all time. Not only do you get the core games, but you also get every single piece of single-player downloadable content that came alongside the titles. Moreover, it has enhanced them with support for Switch-specific features such as HD Rumble. This’ll give you a unique Switch experience playing as Ezio, which we cannot wait to see.

Unfortunately, as was the case with the PS4 and Xbox One editions, the Switch version won’t include the multiplayer modes which were available in Brotherhood and Revelations. This was to be expected, but still may come as a disappointment for some fans. However, it does mean that hundred percenting the game is a whole lot easier when you don’t have to get those pesky online trophies or achievements. So every cloud, right?

From a technical standpoint, the Switch versions of AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations look about on par with their original Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 counterparts. Once again, this may come as a disappointment for some fans, but don’t be too gloom. The fact we’re finally be able to play Ezio’s adventures on the go should be something to be celebrated in itself!

It should be noted, that this isn’t the first time Ubisoft have delved into the AC Universe for the Switch. The French company also previously released Assassin’s Creed 3: Remastered and Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection which included Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue. If you’d like to get your hand on them whilst waiting for February 17th, well luckily we’ve got you covered. The fan-favourite trilogy might finally be making its way to Switch…

There’s a new rumour going around the gaming community and it might just make a few Ezio Auditore da Firenze stans very happy.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is set to make a triumphant return as it has been rumoured the collection with be coming to Switch soon.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is a collection comprised of graphically enhanced versions of Assassin’s Creed games featuring Ezio Auditore da Firenze, which came out in 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One. It was developed and published by Ubisoft and features Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, along with all the single-player DLCs that were released for those titles and two bonus short films that explain Ezio’s back story.

Ezio is one of the franchise’s most popular protagonists, so this rumour will excite the likes of many, but how true could it possibly be?

The rumour comes from Twitter user DirectFeedGames, who is notoriously known for having a solid track record when it comes to leaks and reports, and they sound very certain it is going to happen, thanks to the response to a tweet they gave.

Assassin’s Creed has already made its way to Switch before with The Rebel Collection, Assassin’s Creed III, and the cloud version of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is available in Japan, so it is possible this will be the next collection of Assassin’s Creed games to join the Switch.
