With Valentines around the corner, Niantic are celebrating with a new event for the iconic monster catching game; and a new species has been added for the occasion.
Starting on February 10 and lasting until the 14th, the annual Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day celebration kicks into action, featuring the Flabebe evolution line, as well as other themed pokemon to spread the joy.
This will debut three new Pokemon from one line; Flabebe, Floette and Florges, and almost each colour is present in a different continent:
-Red will appear in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
-Orange appears in every region.
-Yellow can appear in the Americas.
-Blue will appear in the Pacific and in Asia.
-White appears in every region.
There will also be an additional increase in certain pokemon appearing in the wild, featuring Chansey, Luvdisc, Woobat, Audino, Alomomola, Furfrou and other various species. On top of the increased encounter rates, Raids will also be featuring these pokemon t,o help celebrate the event.
As well as encounters, the Poodle Pokemon Furfrou will also recieve a sleek new Heart Trim, which was unavailable prior to the event.
