Have you ever want to show your friends why you’re obviously the best FIFA player around, only for them to then go say they don’t have a PlayStation? I think we’ve all been there. Thankfully now though, they’ll be no hiding from them, as it seems that FIFA 23 is going to finally support cross-play across the board. It’s about time EA!
According to a report by Xfire, the game is going to be the first title to implement this feature. This is because players have been demanding support for the game for years, and as expected with EA, they’ve only decided to get to it now! Nevertheless, as we always say here, it’s better late than never with some things.
Not only this, but there seems to be a range of other rumours circulating about new features that the game will be adding. Before we delve into them all, why not have a quick read of this article which details the recent crossovers between FIFA and Amazon Prime!
FIFA 23 To Include Expanded Women Leagues, World Cup And Hypermotion Tech
In the infamous words of Fabrizio Romano, Here we go! As it’s a World Cup year, it’s time for FIFA to include the most popular sporting event in the world in the game again. Previously, we’ve seen the WC sold as their own games, but in recent years they’ve been integrated through the main title as DLC. It seems that this’ll change once more, as it looks like it’ll be part of the main game from the start.
This is most likely due to the fact that it’s going to be held in winter this year. As a result, they’d be no point waiting a month or so just to get it out there. Why not do it straight away?
If that wasn’t enough to get you excited, well female footballers fans rejoice, as it looks like more Women Leagues are going to be apart of the game. Since 2016, FIFA has tried to expand upon the woman’s side of the game, but this looks like it’s going to be taking it to the next level. How exciting!
Lastly, it is reported that Hypermotion Technology is also going to be improved. Introduced in FIFA 22, the technology is used to “capture animations from real footballers in real matches using stadium cameras, eliminating the need for Xsens suits”. This allows them to obtain “over 100 more times more data in a single league season”.
Obviously, this will just add even more realism to the FIFA franchise which we cannot wait to see! If all this has got you in the mood for some footy fun, well head on over to our store to pick up a copy of FIFA 22 right here!
