Crafting many of the 600+ Items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can be extremely time-consuming. This player came up with an inventive solution for mass-crafting.
Redditor jmichael shared a video of their invention in action, which repeatedly presses on the A button in order to interact with the options and repeatedly craft the same item, allowing the player to go AFK while batches of items are produced.
Something had to be done about crafting a bunch of items at once from AnimalCrossing
The video fully showcases the device and how it interacts with the game. It’s pretty beyond my tech knowhow, but it is impressive to see the lengths one would go to – programming a device to press the A button for them – in order to save time and their thumbs. I’m sure many Animal Crossing: New Horizons players envy the invention.
However, this also tells me Nintendo REALLY ought to provide better options for mass-crafting. We’re all sick and tired of button smashing A!
