Call Of Duty: Vanguard has finally dropped. We are a few days in now, and one of the first things we have noticed is that the depth of weapon customisation is a different animal entirely this year. There are 32 different guns in total, each of which can be kitted out with up to 10 attachments at once. We realise it can be overwhelming trying to keep up with all these weapons and attachments, so we thought we would help you out. Below, you will find in-depth statistic tables across different gun classes, making comparison slightly easier (credit to Rock, Paper, Shotgun for compiling the data). Now you can really see what is causing the biggest dent in multiplayer.

Notes:
- The Damage Profile stats are displayed as “Vital | Regular” damage. Vital damage is usually the damage you deal with a headshot – although for some guns (like the 3-Line Rifle) it includes more of the body, and the Vital proficiency attachment can expand this area for some weapons too.
- The Time-To-Kill stats are calculated by body shots within the gun’s effective range before damage drop-off. So in real game situations, this value may increase (if you land one or more headshots) or decrease (if you land limb shots, miss, or use the gun beyond its effective range).
- To view full stats on a gun in-game, go into the Gunsmith, click on an attachment, and then press “2” on your keyboard or R2 or RT on console. With these in-game stats, you’ll also see exactly how the stats change with each attachment added.
- This CoD title has a vast array of attachments that alter time to kill and other vital stats. Therefore, it is worth noting that these tests measure the base weapons with no attachments. It would have simply taken too long to test each possible weapon variant.
Hopefully, these stats will help get you started and give you some idea of what guns to pick up first. The STG44 and MP-40 are personal favourites. Happy hunting!
