It was announced at the Microsoft conference today that tons of Xbox 360 games will soon become playable on Xbox One.

At E3 today, Xbox Head Phil Spencer confirmed that Xbox One will support backward compatibility in an up and coming update. Retail disks will expect to work with the Xbox One, although you will still have to download them as well. The game Mass Effect was the chosen example during the conference.

Great move, Microsoft!
