I continue to work from the Go2Games shop in Centrale, where I was able to complete my tasks for the day. As always I begun my day by writing three blogs related to gaming. Gaming news has been very busy this week following the E3 event last weekend. The blogs I chose to write and publish onto the get2gaming account included Microsoft revealing old Xbox consoles will be able to play Series X/S games, Bethesda releasing a trailer and release date for upcoming Starfield and Breath of the Wild’s 2 full title being kept a secret.
Following the publishing of these blogs I created news posts using photoshop, which were then posted onto the various Go2Games social media platforms, including Instagram and Twitter.
As gaming enthusiasts continue to subscribe to our various newsletters I continued to create these. The previous newsletters that went out this week included bundles and Xbox Series X. I then created and sent out the general newsletter to subscribers. The general newsletter included pre-order products as well as trending products from PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. If you’re interested in receiving daily newsletters you can sign up to via the Go2Games website.
As footfall within the shop increases I am able to interact with various customers, whether it be to help customers register interest in the PS5 or Xbox Series X or just to play on the consoles. We are now giving out token freebies to those who head into the shop and answer any gaming questions or subscribe to our newsletters. .
Like every Thursday I drew the competition winner for the Nancon wired compact controller – orange (PS4), which was then posted onto Instagram and Twitter revealing the winner. Shortly after this I created the new competition for one lucky customer to win Street Fighter V Arcade Edition (PS4). This was posted onto our socials and has already attracted a lot of attention.
