Nintendo Announces New LEGO Super Mario Sets For 2022

Nintendo’s LEGO Super Mario sets have been gaining popularity amongst fans and so the collaboration continues through to 2022, as Nintendo announced that there will be a number of Super Mario LEGO expansion packs to release next year. This is a good move by both companies considering how quickly the Super Mario 64 LEGO set sold out. Expanding on this is not only exciting for old fans but new fans as well and young children who have come to love Super Mario in the way we do.

There will be a total of 4 expansion sets, which Nintendo gave a few photographic teasers on Twitter, below.

Each expansion set seems to create the feeling of playing through authentic Super Mario level, which includes enemies to interact and even a flag to interact with. One of the sets also include the notorious Clown Car Bowser Jr flies around in, this can be seen in many Super Mario games across the decades.

Due to the popularity of the collaboration between LEGO and Nintendo, fans are hoping there will be a Super Mario themed LEGO game, similar to all the other lego games we’ve seen across the years.
