Epic Games has revealed the next free title that will be given to fans. Epic’s free games are usually revealed a week before they are available, but Epic kept the identity of the upcoming game a mystery.
Among Us has been revealed to be the upcoming title Epic Games are giving away. Among us will replace NBA 2K21, which was free to download from May 20-27.
Following Among Us being free to download another ‘mystery game’ will be revealed on June 3.
Epic Games also launched a store promotion last week which knocks $10 off every game priced above $15, including titles that feature in the store’s ‘Mega Sale.’
Epic has been giving away weekly free titles since the marketplace launched. In 2020 103 games collectively worth $2,407 were given away for free. Epic revealed that users have claimed over 749 million free titles last year.
During the on going Apple V Epic trial it was revealed that Epic Games have spent over $12 million obtaining titles for its free game giveaway over a nine-month period.
