It has been announced by Sega, Merge Games and Jankenteam that a remake of the classic Alex Kidd in Miracle World is coming. The remake is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC on June 24th and will be priced at $20.
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX will have taken it up a notch since the classic was released, offering more than just a updated style. The remake will bring new levels and modes, as well as ‘more fluid controls’ and a remastered soundtrack to go with the game. The new variant will allow players to switch between high-definition graphics and the classic eight-bit style whenever it suits them.
A trailer has been released that makes the game look even better, whilst keeping some aspects of the original such as the rock-paper-scissors sections the same. You can check out the trailer for the remake below:
