NieR Reincarnation May Be delayed 1 Day Before its Release

Square Enix May have to delay NieR Re[in]carnation, it all depends on one thing…

While I am usually patient with game developers, I must say that it is very disappointing to hear about the possibility that Nier Reincarnation could be pushed back, literally one day before its initial release. I am still happy to wait a couple weeks or months if it comes to that, however, I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t feeling let down by Square Enix.

The release of NieR Re[in]carnation, originally scheduled for July 28 PST, may be delayed depending on the outcome of the app’s review.

Further notification about the release date will be posted sometime within July 27 PST.

Other fans like myself, also have some mixed thoughts about this sudden occurrence. Twitter user Gizmhail says “Take all the time you need to create your usual masterpiece, while keeping the dev team safe and rested, Thanks in advance for your game.” and a couple smiley faces to showcase their love and appreciation. Others have also mentioned that it’s out of their control and are all, including the developers are waiting for the app’s review. While there are fans on the more understanding side, there are others have posted gifs showcasing their anger, irritation and distress. Some go as far to say that they are ‘disappointed but not surprised’.

Personally, I am willing to wait and I understand that gave developing and publishing can be a difficult task, especially when trying to add it to a specific platform like mobile. I may be a little sad, but I am still willing to wait for this outstanding game, I am looking forward to it and have no intention to stop supporting Square Enix because of it.
