This comes after a player kills 25 enemies in 33 seconds…
You can see this wondrous clip below where a player using the Gracey Auto absolutely obliterates the lobby on the intense map Das Haus. Accompanying the impressive clip is a tweet from the official Twitter account of Vanguard developer Sledgehammer Games notifying everyone that they’d be performing a “shotgun exorcism” by way of a nerf.

Whether shotguns themselves are the problem is up for debate. Many replies throw shade towards the Multiplayer’s spawn points instead, affirming that this deserves Sledgehammers attention more.
However, it’s hard to argue with the original gameplay clip. It’s clear from the time to kill ratio that something is off with the shotguns in Vanguard, and so the developer is rightfully stepping in. That said, Sledgehammer doesn’t specify how they’re going to be nerfing the shotguns in Vanguard, so it’s entirely possible that the close-quarter weapons will still be a force to be reckoned with.
For those who want to give shotguns a whirl before they get patched, the class from the above clip is as follows:
for all of you beloved people here you. use it before it gets rawdogged from the nerf pic.twitter.com/SoJoQmcttS
