The beloved gamemode Co-Op will become available later on in the season, at an unspecified date.
With the anticipation of the campaign’s co-op mode with season 2 of Halo Infinite, 343 Industries has announced a delay until later on in the season, at an unspecified date. The season arrives on May 3rd, bringing new arenas and maps, as well as two gamemodes named “Land Grab” and “Last Spartan Standing.”
Halo Infinite’s Head of Creative, Joseph Staten, stated that the team are “still aiming to deliver the campaign network co-op later in season two,” and will share a release date for the mode as soon as they can, as well as split screen co-op. “We’re also committed to a great two-player split-screen co-op experience on all Xbox consoles, from the original Xbox One through Xbox Series X—and the non-linear, wide-open sections of the Campaign present some big challenges for split-screen that have taken us more time to solve,” Staten also added.
On a higher note, Forge Mode will still be arriving in Season 3, as the team continue to “privately flight Forge as [they] develop it while also planning for public flight(s) this year.”
Halo Infinite is available for both PC and Xbox consoles.
