Now that Pokemon Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond have been out for a few weeks, and avid fans have torn through the main game already. Interest in the next installment of the franchise is mounting, and people are already scrounging for leaks on Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Leakers have begun sharing details about the ancient region of Hisui and the variety of Pokemon we might find there, in all their different forms. While we can’t ascertain the credibility of all these leakers, Riddler Khu has brought forward info about gameplay and story.
Hardcore gameplay embodies reasonable resource allocation in PLA. You should pay attention to berries, ores and other Pokémon drops. You need to buy item slots when the game progresses, craft balls and throw them effectively. Avoid senseless recollecting and make it a-smooth-ap.

Legends: Arceus seems to be taking a focus on the long grind, emulative of JRPGs. Could this be Nintendo’s response to complaints that the new games are too short? A title aimed at older players with new mechanics and long-term player goals?
If so, Legends: Arceus could be shaping up to be the longest game in the main series.
It seems the main goal for the player is to catch Arceus, which makes sense given the title. Of course, you’ll also probably want to fill in your Hisui Pokédex, and the reintroduction of shiny Pokemon to the open world means you could go on the grind to find all your favourite pokes in their shiny form, too.
Aside from the story, it looks like resource management will be a big thing in the upcoming game. Rather than blindly collecting everything you find, you’ll need to make use of limited storage as you fill it up with crafting components and berries, etc.
Though we won’t know for certain until the games release, January 28th, the prospect of a Pokemon game with a new focus that brings back the grind of old is very exciting. It would be a stark contrast to Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond, which could be speedrun in just 33 minutes.
