Sega has launched a Judgment countdown website in preparation of an announcement coming on May 7th.

The Judgment Day video above counts down the days until the game goes live.

Judgment, developed by Sega’s Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, was originally released in Japan for PS4, (where its called Judge Eyes), in 2018 before releasing in Europe in 2019.

Judgment is being released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia today and is priced at $39.99, with the remastered version including all of the original’s ‘refined’ visuals, quicker loading times and 60 FPS performance.

The game entails players taking on the role of lawyer/ investigator Takayuki Yagami, who’s working on a  case related to Kamurocho’s criminal underground. RGG Studio said a few months ago that they have no plans to bring the game to PC.

By May 7th the ‘Judgment Day’ video will go live, ahead of the announcement from Sega that is due to follow.
