Shadow Latias appears in Team Rocket Retreat Event

Pokemon GO is bringing a new Team Rocket themed event with the Season of Alola, bringing in new Shadow alolan pokemon and another obtainable legendary Shadow pokemon, Latias.

Kicking off on April 3 and introducing a fair few pokemon to the game, the Team Rocket Retreat event runs through to April 7.

On top of some alolan pokemon having shadow forms, including but not limited to alolan Rattata, Sandshrew, and Exeggutor, the poison-fire type pokemon Salandit will also be making their debut in the event, appearing in the wild. After collecting 50 Salandit candies, female salandit can evolve into salazzle.

Giovanni, the Team GO Rocket boss, will also be making his appearance. Completing a new Special Research story and obtaining the Super Rocket Radar, you will be able to battle the sinister boss to rescue the new shadow legendary pokemon, Latias.

Also, the item shop will be selling a special event bundle to ring in the new event. The package will cost 1275 Pokecoins, and contains 10 max potions, 10 max revives, and 5 rocket radars; perfect for looking out for and preparing your team for Team GO Rocket’s admins.
