Back to the Actual News: Epic Games have allegedly cut a deal with Paramount Pictures, according to Nick Baker in this Xbox Era Podcast episode. He goes on to claim this deal will include multiple Paramount properties.

“I’ve been told that apparently Paramount has signed a deal with Epic to bring properties to Fortnite. The main one that I had heard about was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles […] If they’ve done the deal with Fortnite, it obviously opens the door. So, for example, we’ve got two Venoms, like, three Spider-Men […] We’ve already got [Master] Chief, so do we get Halo TV Chief?” – Nick Baker.

What Else Is There: While this may be a bit of a long shot, Star Trek is currently owned by Viacom, which itself owns Paramount, so if (God-willing) Fortnite brings back the lightsabers in another Star Wars event, maybe we’ll also get to see the Mandalorians duke it out with Spock and Picard.

On a more realistic note, Paramount owns Nickelodeon, which has the rights to Spongebob, as well as South Park and Shrek! Considering Fortnite’s affinity for including animated characters from Rick and Morty to Naruto, it could be done. Heck, if PUBG can crossover with Baby Shark, (why yes, I did write on that, thanks for noticing) I’m pretty sure Nickelodeon wouldn’t take much of a hit for letting one of their cash cows shoot “Halo man” (wink) in the face.

What a ride this Fortnite Chapter has been! However, all good things must come to an end eventually. Epic games has confirmed the finale for Fortnite Chapter 2 will commence next week with a special in-game event called ‘The End’. Quite the appropriate title, I suppose.

Whilst we received leaks last week suggesting this, it will come as a relief to fans for it to be confirmed. The event is set to take place on Saturday, December 4 at 9pm, and will see players come together in order to fight against the Cube Queen. With the fate of the island at stake, who knows how this battle is going to end. For those looking to be prepared, the special playlist will be available in Fortnite thirty minutes before the start time. The perfect amount of time to talk tactics, positions and maybe say your goodbyes. Morbid, I know.

Additionally, it has been reported that the event will support parties of up to 16 players queued together. You’re going to need all the numbers you can get to defeat The Cube Queen it looks like. Check out the teaser trailer for the event down below:

Fortnite Developers Excited For Fan Reactions

What a trailer, right? We can’t wait for this one and neither can the creators. This is what Epic Games had to say about their Chapter-ending event:

“Content creators and players looking to relive the final moments of Fortnite Chapter 2 should take steps to record and archive their experience as replays will not be available”.

Moreover, they went on to explain how certain things are going to change once the event starts. For example, you won’t be able to edit any settings which you may find undesirable once the event begins.

“Players will be unable to edit their settings once ‘The End’ begins, so please adjust any visual options to your preferred viewing experience before joining. Because the Season will end a day early, all players who log in before the end of the Season will receive a 225,000 XP reward.”

Exciting Period For Fans Despite The Ending Near

Beginning back in October 2019, Fortnite Chapter 2 has been an astounding success. We all remember when the battle royales original map was sucked into a black hole at the end of Fortnite Season X. Despite this, we shouldn’t be sad that the end is nigh, as Epic Games have plenty more plans over the next few years. Music Deal Also Hitting Our Screens

Not only this, but Epic Games also announced on Tuesday it has acquired Rock Band and Dance Central creator Harmonix “to create musical journeys and gameplay for Fortnite”. This is what the Vice President of game development, Alain Tascan, had to say upon the matter:

“Music is already bringing millions of people together in Fortnite, from our emotes to global concerts and events. Together with the Harmonix team we will transform how players experience music, going from passive listeners to active participants.”

Fortnite is known to not shy away from collaborations with major franchises, and Naruto is the latest in this trend. Naruto and the rest of the infamous Team 7 (Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura) have joined the massively popular battle royale. Data miners leaked this a while back, but it has finally come to fruition as the new skins have officially landed.

After the game’s most recent update, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and even Kakashi all have in-game skins, and most will also have outfit variants. The crossover event also includes cosmetics like a glider, several pickaxes, a few back blings, two different emotes and some loading screens.

Cosmetics aren’t the only thing in the crossover, either. Fortnite has also added Kakashi as an NPC to give players quests. The Paper Bomb Kunai has also arrived in-game as a new weapon, and Epic created a Naruto-themed Featured Hub, which includes a recreation of the Hidden Leaf Village.

The Fortnite changes are live now, and the skins are available in the Fortnite item shop. Players can purchase most of the skins individually or in bundles, with one for Naruto and Kakashi and one for Sakura and Sasuke.

In other news, October and the beginning of November have seen some big next-gen titles being released, including the likes of Call of Duty: Vanguard, FIFA 22, Far Cry 6, and Left 4 Dead’s spiritual successor, Back 4 Blood. There are so many rumours and leaks hinting Naruto is joining Fortnite that it’s gotta be true… right?

There have been so many different rumours and leaks over the past few months regarding whether Naruto would be joining the Fortnite world. Epic Games have yet to confirm anything, but new leaks are proving it to be more and more realistic.

The v18.30 update recently went live for Fortnite, and plenty of leakers and data miners got to work on unpacking all of the new game files and they managed to unpack a few Naruto discoveries.

Naruto x Fortnite

HYPEX, a reliable data miner in the Fortnite community that also recently leaked the Dune collab, revealed new details regarding a potential Naruto collaboration.

The v18.30 game files revealed two new ID tags, a new creative coin, and an explosive Kunai mystery weapon that are safe to say, Naruto related. The two ID tags are ‘Headband K’ and ‘Headband S’ which can only be for Naruto’s sensei, Kakashi, and Naruto’s rival, Sasuke. The creative coins in question are a bowl of ramen, Naruto’s favourite type of food, and a ninja scroll.

Now the Naruto ID has 2 tags, HeadbandK & HeadbandS.. Could it be Kakashi & Sasuke? 👀

There are also reports that Naruto is set to become a boss on the map with his new Mythic Kunais, previewed down below. Yet whether players will be able to play as Naruto is still uncertain.

So far the evidence has been pretty telling on whether we can expect a Naruto x Fortnite collab or not. It has been hinted that the collab will go live after Chapter 2 Season 8, yet it still hasn’t been officially stated by Epic Games. It is recommended to still hold out on an official statement, no matter how damaging the current leaks are.
