Skydance New Media has recently revealed to Marvel fans that they are working on developing an AAA action-adventure game. The superheroes that will be featured in this new game are yet to be revealed, however, it is known that it will be a narrative-driven blockbuster experience that features an original story in the marvel universe.
The news of a new Marvel game from Skydance New Media came as just as much of a shock as it did as a surprise. Apart from the circulating controversies surrounding Marvels Avengers, some Marvel games such as Marvels Guardians of The Galaxy and Marvels Spiderman have been received very well by fans of Marvel.
New Marvel Game
Due to the amount of Marvel Fans it was inevitable that there was always going to be high expectations for Skydances exciting new project. In addition to this, now, one of the Marvels fist ever cast members has publicly announced that they are participating in the creation of the new game, which has now raised fans and players expectations to even higher standards.
It was confirmed by Gavankar that she would be taking part in the upcoming Marvel game from Skydance New Media, however she has been set on not releasing any spoilers to fans. Her role in the game, how relevant her character will be and how much work she has done on the game is still unknown as she refuses to give away any hints at this stage.
Skydance New Media has not announced what the game will be and it can be inferred that they will not announce it until the release date, as, now we know that Gavankar is participating in the creation of the game, that would ruin the mystery and anticipation that fans are experiencing in the build up to the release of the new game.
Gavankar
Janina Gavankar is an industry veteran with experience in television, film and video game voice work. Her most widely known video game role was when she played, protagonist, Iden Versio in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 single player campaign. She has also featured in other video game roles such as Horizon: Zero Dawn, Afterparty and Far cry 4.
There have been some rumors circulating that Skydance New Medias new Marvel game is Daredevil which would be very interesting, especially in terms of Gavankar, as it would leave her with some interesting potential characters to play. Some of these being Typhoid Mary, Elektra or any other of the inevitably ill-fated women who unfortunately fall into the trap of having a relationship with Daredevil.
