One of The Best Early Updates in Nintendo History

The Animal Crossing New Horizons Update 2.0 planned for November 5th was released a day earlier on November 4th. However, Happy Home Paradise DLC had not been released and was still scheduled for November 5th.

Nintendo confirmed during the Animal Crossing New Horizons’ Direct, that what we received as a free update, will be the last large free update we’ll get. Then we have Happy Home Paradise, Nintendo mentioned to IGN, which will be the only Paid DLC for Animal Crossing New Horizons.

The Animal Crossing New Horizons Direct, included new features such as cooking, the comeback of Kapp’n, Brewster, our beloved Tortimer, Katrina and the arrival of 18 new villagers. The update also includes emotions, hairstyles, new items, island features such as morning aerobics and much more.

How to get access to The New Animal Crossing New Horizons 2.0 Update Content

Many Animal Crossing New Horizons users have become confused as to why they can’t access certain parts of the update, such as the Paid DLC Happy Home Paradise. Firstly, there are two things to check, whether the Animal Crossing New Horizons is fully updated and whether you’ve completed all the tasks that are needed to unlock the 2.0 update features.

How to Update Animal Crossing New Horizons

To Update Animal Crossing New Horizons, to do this you will need to be at your Nintendo Switch Home Screen with Animal Crossing New Horizons software available! (Either insert the cartridge or download the software).

Once the Animal Crossing New Horizons Tab shows, you’ll want to press the + button on your Switch to open Options.

You’ll then see a list, Click Software Update and then Via the Internet, the Nintendo Switch will then search to see if you have the latest software, If you don’t, select for the game to be updated and it’ll take roughly 10 minutes, if you’ve already got the latest version of Animal Crossing New Horizons, you’ll all set!

Some of the Animal Crossing New Horizons content requires you to get a 3-star island and have K.K. Slider perform. If you have not done this yet, it may be a barrier to taking part in the Happy Home Paradise DLC.
