Stability Improvements? Who would have guessed it…
The latest PlayStation 5 system firmware update has just dropped, and I think we could of guessed that this new patch (like seemingly every other) is bringing further stability improvements. The new patch again improves system performance. That being said, who can hate on a smooth running PS5 eh? Not me.
The patch notes are particularly exhilarating this time around, brace yourself guys… The Version: 21.02-04.50.00’s patch notes simply state: “This system software update improves system performance.”
The biggest PS5 system update so far has been its September patch, which added M.2 drive support, additional 3D audio support for TV speakers, and several other quality-of-life updates. The PS5 still has a way to go before its user interface is more in line with what the PS4 had to offer, as some of the more fan-requested updates include custom folders to organize games in and a wider selection of background themes.
In other news, Dead By Daylight’s latest murderous DLC is dropping today and Halo Infinite has an all-new XP system.
Also, October and November have seen some big next-gen titles released, including Call of Duty: Vanguard, Battlefield 2042, FIFA 22, Far Cry 6, and Left 4 Dead’s spiritual successor, Back 4 Blood. You can purchase all of these titles, as well as pre-ordering Elden Ring and any other games from our Go2Games website.
