Dataminers have collated an image gallery of the 9000 new items in Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons update.

The version 2.0 update went live a day earlier than initially planned and includes over 9000 new items (including colour variations).

Now the Animal Crossing World website has shared a vast image gallery. You can scroll through the enormous selection of items – and I’ve already got tons of ideas for my island just from perusing the list!

The update includes the highly anticipated Froggy Chair, a fan favourite from Animal Crossing New Leaf on the 3DS, which has been requested since New Horizons was released.

The chair now comes in six colours, including its trademark green. I can’t wait to see the impact the froggy chair will have on the ACNH economy. A quick peek at Nookazon tells me people are currently shelling out huge amounts of Nook Miles Tickets for the new villagers, and some listings put the Froggy Chair at 10 million bells.

Froggy Chairs aside, here’s a small selection of items I’m personally excited to see:

The update tells me that the developers have been paying attention to their player base’s likes and the areas they want to create. There are cafe and fairground themed items, which seem to be a favourite among islands I’ve seen. They’ve also added more signs and ‘room’ creation type items, noting how players like to mark out and distinguish areas of their islands with illusionary walls.

Also, does that skirt look familiar? Or is it just me…

Initially scheduled for release today, November 5th, this last major free content update includes Brewster and his coffee shop, The Roost. Along with him arrives Kapp’n, who will take players to different islands on his boat while serenading them with sea chanties, among other features.

The patch also arrives alongside Happy Home Paradise, the game’s first and only paid DLC expansion, which will be activated on November 5.

Happy Home Paradise tasks players with helping characters acquire their dream vacation home on a new group of islands.

Happy Home will set you back £22.49 or is available as part of the £34.99 Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. You will, of course, need to own Animal Crossing: New Horizons to use the Happy Home Paradise DLC.

“The free update launching on Nov. 5 will be the last major free content update,” a Nintendo spokesperson told IGN earlier this week. “We hope that players will continue enjoying their island life in real time and throughout the changing seasons.”

It’s been well over a year since Animal Crossing: New Horizons launched in March 2020. It has become the second best-selling game on Switch. As of September, it has sold over 34.85 million copies.
