Death Stranding Director’s Cut is set for a PC release, according to an announcement claimed to have been obtained ahead of its planned circulation
Videocardz.com has published what it claims to be a press release for Intel’s Arc GPUs, ahead of its planned release during CES 2022. This alleged press release makes specific mention of Death Stranding: Director’s Cut for PC. This is said to be planning exclusive integration with Intel components.
The following quote is also attributed to the president of publisher 505, Neil Rally: “We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Intel for the Death Stranding Director’s Cut edition on PC.
“Death Stranding has been a hugely popular game with PC players and we’re excited to see how Intel’s new XeSS technology will enhance player experience for Director’s Cut.”
Death Stranding Director’s Cut had its release for PlayStation 5 in September, featuring enhanced visuals, new missions, and several new features not available in the PS4 original.
These include new combat mechanics designed to make battling enemies more enjoyable. Melee attacks have been upgraded, a new Maser gun can be acquired, and players can also find mounted machine guns.
New items include evolved stabilizers with thrusters which reduce the impact of landing when jumping from a height, while the cargo catapult can launch cargo over long distances.
