New Fortnite Animals and Tools in Season 3! What To Know!

Based on claims by regularly-correct datamining extraordinaire HYPEX, a new type of animal will be coming Epic Games‘ Fortnite.

Starting December 4th and 4pm ET (9pm UK time), the current Fortnite season will end and include a special temporary event seeing players take on The Evil Cube Queen TM.

The animal HYPEX claims will be coming to Fortnite is easily one of the most deadly, ferocious and sadistic animal known to the virtual and non-virtual worlds! I barely survived a scuffle with one when it tried to take my sandwich along with my hand at Brighton back in Ye Olde Days of 2019… It’s seagulls, I’m talking about seagulls.

HYPEX says the seagulls have appeared in Fortnite concept art (most likely upcoming unlockable loading screens in-game) depicting them in tropical locations and a new beach area.

Smidge anti-climactic considering Fortnite currently has crows flying about in-game that drop weapons of varying quality, so maybe the seagulls will have some kind of gull-exclusive gameplay item. Maybe they’ll bring back bones for the crafting system, or perhaps seagulls are teasing a more pirate-y aesthetic this time around.

Alternative gameplay theory: Imagine Peg-Leg Paul shcuff-shuffling about the ship with Black-Tooth Carl about to load a round in his flint-lock only to get yoinked up high from a hitherto unseen beast of burden being commanded by The Dread Pirate Ransford… Hypothetically speaking.

Flintlock pistols have also made a return to Fortnite recently, so I’m just saying… Epic. Honey. Shnookums. We’re onto you… Most likely… Possibly… Definitely Maybe.

HYPEX also announced Fortnite will be seeing the edition of throwable axes. Considering the little graffiti-looking wrapping under the handle, maybe there will be an upcoming option to deck out your in-game weapon wraps with your in-game graffiti sprays, like that customisable jacket skin that lets you style your jacket based on your weapon wrap designs.
