Nintendo have unveiled a new game that is exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online players: Pac-Man 99. Nintendo have previously released exclusive games to switch online such as Tetris 99 and the all new Pac-Man 99 has a battle royale twist on it.
Pac-Man 99 allows players to play as Pac-Man on their own screen, with the last player standing being the winner, which is very similar to the original Pac-Man.
Like the other Nintendo Switch Online battle royale games, the games are taken up a notch and being good at the original game is not good enough. Pac-Man 99 allows players to distract their competitors for a chance of winning the game. Players can send a ‘Jammer Pac-Man’ to their competitors in the hopes of slowing them down.
Players can also target specific competitors, allowing them to have a better shot at winning the game.
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will have access to Pac-Man 99 base game at no further cost, although will have the chance to buy DLC packs at an additional cost.
Pac-Man 99 for Nintendo Switch Online Subscribers went live early this morning.
