The yearly Pokémon Go Fest is returning this summer and is scheduled for July 17th and 18th. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s event took place online, instead of the event taking place in cities around the world.
According to Pokémon Go developer Niantic the event will be held virtually once again and is described as ‘global event.’
Niantic teased in a blog post that this year’s event would be one to remember as ‘2021 marks both the twenty-fifth anniversary of Pokémon and the fifth anniversary of Pokémon Go, so trust us when we say you won’t want to miss Pokémon Go Fest 2021!’
