Releasing on January 28th, Pokemon Legends: Arceus begins its launch on the Switch; With Tetris 99 celebrating its release with a new event and theme dedicated to the upcoming game.
The 28th Maximus Cup begins on January 20th, 8 days before the game’s release, with players who are able to gather at least 100 points before the event’s end recieving a new ingame theme featuring the art and music from Pokemon Legends, according to the official Nintendo of America twitter.
Tetris 99 is a free download for Nintendo Switch Online members, with a twelve (12) month membership costing £17.99 including other perks like cloud save backups and a library of NES/SNES games to browse through. To participate in the event, all you need to do is take part in online matches and collect points depending on how high up you place after each round. The Maximus Cup will run until January 24th, at 10:59 PT.
