The critically acclaimed hack and slash continues the story of Kratos as he travels around the world of ancient norse mythology, Fighting against gods and monsters alike alongside your son Atreus.
The Pc version of the game will be able to run in 4k ultra wide with an unlocked frame rate. The game will also support Nvidia’s “Deep Learning Super Sampling, which dynamically upscales the games resolution while you play, letting the game look better than ever. Along side this the game will also support reflex Low Latency technology, which will let the game run smoother and feel more responsive.
Sony has promised the game will have “Robust” controller support and keyboard mapping customisation, which is a strange promise given that Keyboard Remapping is a given on PC games, rather than some sort of “Feature” to be advertised.
You can read more about this on Sony’s blog.
God of war is joining “Horizon: zero Dawn” and “Days Gone” on PC. the former two games have been available on PC for some time now and, at least in the case of days gone, have actually done better on PC than they did on console. Alongside God of War, there are also plans to bring “Uncharted: legacy of thieves Collection” to PC, which includes remasters of Uncharted 4 and Uncharted the lost Legacy. However this game has no fixed release date as of yet.
“God of Wars'” Sequel, “God of War: Ragnarok” is set to come out at some point in 2022, making this PC release a good excuse to experience the story of the first game in preparation for the next game in the series.
