The fun never stops with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! Three years on from its initial release, the Nintendo brawler is set to receive another character adjustment in its next update. Despite the fact we’re yet to know the launch date of said update, we really can’t wait for this one. It has been reported that players will finally be given a solid, unchanging version of the game, adding extra competitiveness to the whole experience. This is what we love to hear.
Previously, we reported on update 13, where they added the iconic Sora to star alongside an already impressive roster. We’ve loved playing as the Kingdom Hearts hero so far, as have the modding community. Check out one funny design they’ve had with the character right here. We’re tell you right now, its certainly not something you’d expect to see!
Let’s hope the 13.0.1 update helps improve this game even more. Nintendo’s game has already received universal praise worldwide in its lifespan, so we struggle to see how that’s possible. Nevertheless, we’re sure they’ll find a way. Check out the announcement tweet down below:
Ver. 13.0.1 of Super #SmashBrosUltimate is coming soon! This update includes the final fighter adjustments, meaning replay data from previous versions will be incompatible. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Continues With Improvements
We’re all here for another Smash Bros. update, regardless of how big it is! Obviously, the patches have been a big deal for us players for some time now. We’ve seen certain characters being nerfed, small changes to designs and even some buffs, meaning the character tier list was constantly fluctuating. Sometimes a character would be ridiculously overpowered, but then significantly weakened in the patch after. As such, players have struggled to decide which characters are the strongest, although professional player Esam has Pikachu, Joker, and Palutena as some of the best.
Unfortunately, we still do not know when the next change is going to happen. All we know is that it will feature “final fighter adjustments”, but even that’s quite a vague statement. What exactly do they mean by that? It seems that we’re just going to have to wait to find out further information, but that’s part of the fun of it, no? Ok maybe not, but still.
Despite how the update goes, we’re just looking forward to the potential of a ‘stable, unchanging build of the game’. It will give us peace of mind when choosing our characters, which is all we really ask for. Finally, competitive players will be able to develop their favoured characters without worries of change. That’s just what we like to see.
