Nintendo to reveal more details about the Animal Crossing: New Horizons update on October 15th.
Nintendo has announced that the Animal Crossing Direct stream will commence on October 15th at 3pm BST.
The stream will consist of a 20-minute presentation detailing the upcoming features for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This includes the arrival of Brewster, the fan-favourite barista of the Animal Crossing world.
As reported by my colleague, Brewster made his debut in Animal Crossing: Wild World, and has featured in every single Animal Crossing Game since then. This is including Animal Crossing City Folk, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Animal Crossing Welcome Amiibo, and Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer.
Finally, he will be joining the lineup of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this November.

Nintendo’s method of releasing slow updates for the game does seem to be effective in keeping the player base active and interested, as well as maintaining a decent amount of hype around the game. It’s now been a year and a half since the release of ACNH, and the game is still going fairly strong. Players have begun to complain about lack of content, however.
Animal Crossing is a very slow-paced game, and hardcore gamers often find themselves tearing through the offered content far too quickly. It’s more so geared at casual gamers, who play a little each day. But the core fanbase that creates content and builds hype around the game tends to be the more passionate, ‘hardcore’ crowd. Naturally, they are the most vocal about their dissatisfaction.
Sorry am I the only one who sorta feels like Brewster is too little too late?
I do not have high hopes that we’ll get anything more than just Brewster & idk if it’s enough? I love AC but idk— ♡ 𝙖𝙨𝙝 ♡ (@moldipeaches) October 6, 2021
Some fans, however, take a more sympathetic outlook: reminding others that development has been delayed for all video games.
Nonetheless, I do hope the arrival of Brewster isn’t the only announcement in the upcoming Direct. We’ll have to wait and see!
