EA Play Live comes to an end. Here’s everything you may have missed…
First and foremost, we received an inside look at the new upcoming Apex Legends season, titled Emergence. The season sees the introduction of a new hero, Seer, alongside some other changes and new additions to the game. You can see the trailer for the new season below, along with the “Stories from the Outlands” trailer (below that), detailing the new legends’ backstory.
Another announcement was a Dead Space remake. This was possibly one of the worst kept secrets in gaming, with rumours circulating for a while now. Reports had previously described the upcoming title as a “reimagining” as opposed to a direct remake. EA went into more detail regarding the upcoming Battlefield 2042 title. They revealed the all-new Battlefield Portal game mode, which was heavily leaked before the showcase.
