As January drags on for what feels like an eternity (as it always does), I thought why not start getting excited for what’s to come in February! The shortest month is looking to be one of the most jam-packed, with some huge, highly anticipated video games finally reaching our consoles. How will we find the time to get through them all?
If you’ve been looking for a new gaming adventure to get you through the winter months, well aren’t you lucky you’ve got go2games. Enough of this rambling anyway, let’s crack on with the best games February has to offer!
The Waylanders (Feb 2nd)
Starting the month off with a bang is The Waylanders, a PC RPG from Gato Studio which has been described as a ‘Dragon Age: origins-inspired adventure game’. However, it seems this game will come with a Celtic fantasy twist, which we cannot wait to see!
Whilst early access for the game hasn’t been too positive, we must remember that it’s not quite the finished article yet. Therefore, still keep your hopes up that The Waylanders is going to be a smash hit! Keep your eyes on this one, especially if you’re a Dragon Age fan!
Dying Light 2 (Feb 4th)
Zombies? Parkour? Let’s just stop it right there shall we? If those two words aren’t more than enough to get you excited for this one, then well I think you really need to start re-evaluating your priorities here.
The original game was a thrilling first-person parkour shooter and I don’t expect anything less than that here too (along with quite a few lines of dialogue). If it’s even half as scary as it was in night mode in the first game, well then we’re in for a treat.
Lost Ark (Feb 11th)
This outrageously popular Korean MMORPG will be making its way over to Steam next month, which I cannot wait for. It looks like its going to be a smash hit, and who doesn’t love a properly produced MMO?
Rumbleverse (Feb 15th)
Epic Games are certainly on a roll at the moment, so let’s hope this one continues the streak. It looks like to be a fun melee-based battle royale which could be the company’s next big thing. Who knows?
Destiny 2: The Witch Queen (Feb 22nd)
It’s been quite a while since I loaded up Destiny 2, but this could be just the thing I needed. It’s the first proper expansion to Destiny 2 for what seems like forever, so hopefully the new content is exactly what we all need to restore our interest in it again. Fingers crossed!
Elden Ring (Feb 25th)
Here we go now! This is the big one of February isn’t it? Many have been waiting for this one for quite some time, as have I! Many hours will be spent towards the end of the month getting through it, that’s for sure. Elden Ring, which is a collaboration between Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin is undoubtedly going to be so good!
Anyway, now its time for the full list! If you see any that tickle your fancy, why not head on over to our store to see if you pre-order them. If not, well make sure to come back next month to see if we’ve got them in stock!
