The sprawling metropolis and open plain fields of Los Santos and Blaine County have certainly provided us a canvas to commit all sorts of mischievous behaviour throughout the last decade. Whilst we’ve obviously had our fair share of wild moments in the games story mode, it’s GTA Online where I believe we’ve all become truly artistic with the mayhem we indulge in.
After the online modes launch way back in October 2013, we’ve been treated to an abundance of updates to keep us engaged. We’ve had Heists, Nightclubs, Casinos, Motorcycle Gangs and even the addition of Hoverbikes to stop us from ever leaving the GTA Online Universe. As a result, there has been a fair share of wacky moments that players have been able to pull off.
However, whilst a lot of the strange happenings in the world tend to be from laser miniguns or orbital airstrikes nowadays, one GTA player pulled off a trick which keeps it old school. I’m not talking a cute little stunt jump flip in a Zentorno here, or even an impressive Hydra spin in a tunnel. No, this is something which you’d find hard to ever repeat if you tried a million times more. Check the footage out for yourself down below:
GTA Sniper Shot Rightfully Stuns The Reddit-Verse
So…what’d you think then? I told you it was impressive. To get a shot off in that intense environment, hanging out the back of a cargobob, well I’ve certainly never seen anything like this. Not only this, but it appears the player isn’t even using aim assist. How is that even possible? As a result, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that the world of Reddit exploded with praise for this expert shooter.
One fellow redditor commented that the “Guy went quickly from GTA to Warzone in GTA”. It’s hard to argue with that statement to be fair. Whilst gamers will be familiar with shots like this in many FPS shooters, have you ever seen such a play in GTA Online? Another redditor followed by also unpacking just how crazy the shot: “Damn first person, back of the cargobob opening, smooth single shot and reloading with the clip flying trough the air.. this clip is badass asf”. Does anything more need to be said?
