Somehow, ten weeks have already passed since I joined the Go2Games team.
The past few months have flown by since I began working with G2G, and I’ve very much been enjoying my work. If you saw my last weekly blog, you may remember that I set some goals with my careers mentor.
Though I’ve made some headway with these, including getting on with my LLC online course, I still have far to go. This week was a little tough as I’ve been dealing with my chronic headaches, and I didn’t get quite as much done as I would have liked to.
Still, I put heart into my blogs as always – especially my original blog on Shenhe and Chongyun. Speaking of, the other writers and myself spoke a bit about how to make our blogs successful.
I noticed that my Genshin Impact blogs tend to outperform my other blogs. I believe writing consistently in a certain niche has been very helpful, especially when you have plenty of knowledge in that area. Genshin’s constant updates, along with frequent leaks given the games popularity, have been giving me plenty to write about.
I feel like I’ve let my novel and creative writing in general take the sideline this week, which isn’t the most ideal. When I’m not able to express myself creatively, I tend to see a negative impact on my mental health and mood. This comes back to my time management goal, as well as performing better self-care.
Everyone has times when they don’t feel there best, though. I’m glad I am working with such nice, understanding people, at a job I really enjoy, as it makes times like this more bearable.
