It’s our favourite time of the year once more! No, we’re not talking about Christmas (although we can’t wait for that either). Instead, it’s all about the Game Of The Year Awards, and we reckon this year’s ceremony is going to be a one to remember. This is especially the case this time as last year’s show was all virtual. As a result, we cannot wait to see all the swanky outfits, new trailers and reveals in Los Angeles on Dec 9.
One example of some of the fun we could be treated to, is last year’s ceremony where we saw Sephiroth join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster (Not the only character that we’ve been treated to this year). Additionally, there was the reveal of Back4Blood, as well as teaser trailers for both a new Dragon Age Title and the next Mass Effect. Whilst we can’t wait for another Mass Effect, some people aren’t as happy with the other announcement of a possible TV show for the game.
This year, we can reveal that there will be an announcement for a game that’s been in the works for two and half years. We just cannot wait to find out what it could possibly be. Check out everything we know about the event down below. Similarly, pick up some of the games listed at our store here!
When is the Game Awards?
The 2021 Game Awards start Thursday Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Viewers in the UK will have to wait up until 1 a.m which is unfortunate for us I suppose. You can watch the stream on multiple platforms:
