Genshin Impact players want Labyrinth Warrior event as permanent endgame mode - Get2Gaming

Genshin’s newest event is proof that MiHoYo can do more for endgame content.

Genshin Impact has been out for a little over a year. Many players have now reached AR 55 and AR 56, some even hitting AR 57. At this stage, any open-world stuff or domain farming is dead easy. The only challenge for us is the Spiral Abyss, which resets twice a month. For a while now, players have been expressing dissatisfaction with the amount of content for endgame players.

Then the Labyrinth Warriors event dropped a few days ago, and with it came hope for better endgame content.

Labyrinth Warriors throws you into procedurally generated dungeons separated into chambers. These chambers are connected by halls dotted with treasure, traps, and small collectable buffs, and they all contain some sort of ward, encounter, or loot. You have to mind your step as booby traps litter the halls. There are healing chambers, treasure chambers, and plenty of combat chambers where you challenge an array of enemies to move forwards and collect wards while you’re at it. Wards provide passive bonuses that increase your damage and defences with various buffs, and landing a rare ward can make a big difference to your party’s strength. There are also a few exploration bonuses, which can be handy if you’re prone to running into the aforementioned booby traps (like me).

Like how you bring 8 characters into the Spiral Abyss, you can bring 8 characters into the Labyrinth. However, unlike in the Spiral Abyss, they don’t form two separate locked-in parties. Throughout the Labyrinth, you will find chambers where you can shuffle your party around. This can be used strategically. For instance, I found a Cryo DMG bonus ward, and then pulled Ayaka and Kaeya into my party.

However, I’ve found the event super easy so far. It would be nice if this was released as permanent endgame content with varying difficulty levels.

I don’t think MiHoYo would simply rerelease the event content permanently, but I’m hoping they take the requests into account and make something like this.
