Wanna give the new Metroid Dread a test run? Well, now you can! Nintendo announced it is releasing a free demo of its recent release today- just in time for Halloween.
Metroid Dread is developed by MercurySteam and Nintendo EPD and is the first mainline 2D instalment of the Metroid franchise in over 20 years, so this free demo really is a treat!
Metroid Dread Demo
Metroid Dread sees players control bounty hunter Samus Aran as she investigates the source of a mysterious transmission on the planet ZDR and concludes the main story arc that started with the original game in 1986.
The Metroid Dread demo is available in all regions with the official Nintendo of America, Europe, and Japan tweeting about the demo being live on the Nintendo eShop to download.
