The Grand Theft Auto franchise is famed for giving players an immersive sandbox experience where players are granted a plethora of intricate details to truly make the open worlds thrive. From in-game television shows and movies to a fully functional internet, you can always rely on GTA to keep you entertained.
One such example is the iconic radio stations the game also provides. Whether your a fan of rock, pop, hip hop or country, there’s certainly a bit of something for everyone in the games catalogue. Whilst one certain GTA’s radio selection has come into criticism recently, I’m here to put a smile on your face once more. Well, a smile on your face if you’re an Eminem fan that is.
The Detroit-born rapper has snatched the headlines lately due to his awe-inspiring performance at SuperBowl LVI alongside a group of other famous rappers including Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Dr Dre. However, a recent GTA leak suggests he’s going to be in the news now as the first radio music for the hotly anticipated GTA 6 which was confirmed to be in production not too long ago. How exciting! 
Eminem Joins Impressive List Of GTA Rappers
Firstly, let’s have a look at the leak itself to see if it has any accuracy. It was MattheusVictorBR who claims to have found the following songs in the game: Domino Dancing by Pet Shop Boys, Odessa by Caribou, Disparate Youth by Santigold and Numb by Rihanna Feat. Eminem. Unfortunately MattheusVictorBR doesn’t reveal how they go this information. Nevertheless, it’s important to stay on top of every GTA leak to see which ones do come to fruition.
Additionally, there’s still a few things to take away from it. Firstly, as Numb was part of Rihanna’s seventh album Unapologetic, which was released in 2012, it’s safe to say that GTA 6 will be going with a contemporary setting. This is important as previous rumours suggested the title could take place in the past, as Rockstar have done with the likes of Vice City and San Andreas.
Not only this, but it would mean Eminem would become another face of GTA who featured at the Superbowl, with Dr Dre famously appearing in GTA Online last month in a new DLC. Could Eminem be making an appearance in the games story too? Who knows?! All we know is that if the leak is accurate, well then we cannot wait for what else the radio stations are going to give us in the game.
