Who’s in the mood for some more gaming fun this festive period? PlayStation certainly are. The December 2021’s PlayStation Now games have finally been announced and they don’t look set to disappoint. On December 7, fans will be treated to GTA III: The Definitive Edition, John Wick Hex, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Spitlings. Who’s excited for this then?

It looks like PlayStation Now has been on a hot streak recently. Last months games were equally impressive, with Mafia: Definitive Edition, Celeste, Final Fantasy IX and Totally Reliable Delivery Service. Not bad, right? It’s great additions to the services ever expanding game library which now boasts over 700 PS2, PS3 and PS4 games streamable to PS5, PS4 or PC, and over 300 PS4 titles which can be downloaded and played on consoles.

Additionally, the news comes just after the announcement of the December games for PlayStation Plus. This will have any gamer excited during these cold winter months, especially those looking to stay inside  due to increasing COVID cases. Why bother going out socialising when you’ve got all these games to get through? There’s plenty of fun to be had, that’s for sure.Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Launches November, Improvements Detailed - Game Informer

Whilst the GTA Trilogy hasn’t quite lived up to expectations as of yet, Rockstar have released an apology stating they will improve the game even after their recent patches. Therefore, we believe there is nothing to worry about here. Grand Theft Auto III should be perfectly playable, and is definitely worth playing for anyone who is yet to experience the revolutionary title.

Sony Looking To Invest More In PlayStation Now

It was revealed by Bloomberg that Sony is likely to invest more in their current game-streaming platform. The service has had varied success thus far, but fans still demand more to improve its overall experience.

Not only this, but it was recently revealed that Sony intend to create an ‘Xbox Game Pass’ equivalent for their consoles. According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, the project is codenamed Spartacus. This is what he tweet earlier this week:

“Sony is planning a new subscription service, code-named Spartacus, to take on Xbox Game Pass. It’s being pitched as a three-tier service that will merge PlayStation Now with PlayStation Plus. Highest tier could include PS1/PS2/PSP games”.

Obviously, plans for that look quite far off at the moment. Therefore, we should be happy with what we’ve got at the moment. Get onto your PlayStation Now app as soon as you can and get cracking on with these latest titles. Adversely, maybe they don’t quite tickle your fancy, so head on over to our store instead and check out what deals we’ve got there!PlayStation Now games for December: GTA III: The Definitive Edition, John Wick Hex, FF X/X-2 HD Remaster, and Spitlings – PlayStation.Blog
