Working from the Go2Games shop in Centrale I completed my tasks for Wednesday. I started my day differently from most days as I no longer write news blogs. Instead three new content writers produce great content for our get2gaming account.
After these blogs were published I then created news posts based on my favourite, most exciting news story for that day. I chose to create the posts for the following blog articles, Bloodborne being PlayStation Now’s most played game, Marvel’s Avengers IP bug being fixed and finally a Pokémon fan spotting a Pikachu inspired car. The news posts created using photoshop were then posted onto the various Go2Games social media accounts, including Instagram and Twitter.
Today I worked alongside the post production team which is always great fun. While the guys were filming ‘Game of The Week’ and their console tier list I was able to get some exciting behind the scenes footage which was posted onto our Instagram story. I also took part in judging two paintings created by Ron and Toby, which will be featured on a upcoming episode of Gaming Shart.
As newsletter subscribers increase I continue to create these for the various subscriber groups. Wednesday’s newsletter is Xbox Series X which I created whilst working from the shop. The two previous newsletters that I sent out this week included vouchers and bundles. The Series X newsletter featured a new pre-order product this week, which was Hades. If you’re interested in receiving daily newsletters you can sign up to via the Go2Games website.
As always I was able to interact with customers, whether it be to help customers register interest in the PS5 or Xbox Series X or just to play on the consoles. We continue to give out token freebies to those who participate in questionnaires or subscribe to our newsletters.
